The main story: A evolution of the Part-Time Creator club
Hey, how’s it going?
I’ve been running this newsletter for a little while & I wanted to update you on a major change. You might have noticed the logo at the top is a little different.
I want to tell you why.
The evolution
For a little while I’ve been facing a problem.
I’ve been trying to work out how to marry my Substack with my Newsletter business. As you’ll know, I started the Part-Time Creator Club last year and things have gone from strength to strength but as I’ve moved platforms (to Convertkit) I felt a little lost with what to do with Substack.
I still want to write here but I don’t want to publish the same content as the main newsletter. That doesn’t make much sense.
But last Sunday afternoon, whilst reading, I had a little brainwave.
I love Substack & don’t want to get rid of it but I also believe that the Part-Time Creator Club needs to feel like its own brand with its own website and identity.
Here’s the thing I love talking wins & losses of the Part-Time Creator Club but it feels weird to talk about that in the Part-Time Creator Club newsletter, it’s quite meta and it confuses me.
That got me thinking…
The experiments
I run all kinds of experiments all the time with my content and the results I sometimes share publicly but not always, that’s because:
It’s not what people want.
It takes a long time to go through all the data.
It’s too much to share in a 400-word newsletter.
Part-Time Experiments
So I’ve decided to rebrand my Substack as Part-Time Experiments.
It’ll be where I detail (weekly, on a Sunday) the experiment ran for the Part-Time Creator Club. What I’ve learned, the data & what I’m doing next. It’ll be the place where you can learn, through me, what works.
It’ll be the revenue, the numbers & everything.
Ideas so far:
My $8k launch strategy
The 2k subs in 30 day experiment
5-words that change my landing page subs
The newsletter will move to 1 essay every Sunday packed full of value. I’ve decided that the newsletter will be paid only. $5/month. The price of a coffee. Seems fair.
You can still be a member of the Part-Time Creator Club for free, you can sign up here if you haven’t already & lots of valuable articles will be available on the website, free.
For those of you that join the Part-Time Experiments…
I look forward to seeing you Sunday,
Happy creating!
Eve
P.s. Don’t forget to sign up before Sunday to get your first edition.
