👋 Hey, Eve here! Welcome to this week’s paid edition of the Part-Time Creator Club. Each I divulge an experiment I’ve been working on in the Part-Time Creator Club to show you what I’m learning.
Ola — welcome to this week’s edition of the Internet Experiments newsletter. Now this one I am excited for (I know I said that this week but feels like I’m getting into a bit of a grove with this newsletter and it’s feeling like a dream to write).
Anyway, what have I been testing this week? Well, we’re talking headlines again but this time we’re talking about researching the best-hitting headlines on YouTube and repurposing them for Medium. Note here, that it’s not a simple lift and shift, but rather research, iteration and then implementation (apart from in one example where I did lift and shift and I’ll tell you why later on).
As you and I both know (as evidenced in last week’s edition) headlines are important. Headlines are really important. Last week I showed you how one word can have nearly a x3 impact on your article reach so I wanted to iterate on that experiment and instead of myself coming up with the different headline ideas, I wanted to see if YouTube could help me. So let’s get into this week’s experiment:
Step 1: The experiment
Step 2: The results
Step 3: Discussion
Step 4: Next steps
