  • The story šŸŽ’: The sustainable Twitter hustle.

  • Small ideasšŸ’”: šŸ†• Ideaometer.

  • Web highlights šŸŒ: Cool things this week.

  • Tiny thought: On walking.

Read time: 2 minutes

There is a lot if info in this week’s edition, my apologies for not sending the newsletter out last week, I’ve been a little under the weather. 🤧 Anyway, let’s dive into it.

The Sustainable Twitter Hustle

I’ve been writing on Twitter for 51 days seriously, let’s call it 7 weeks.

In that time I’ve gone from 425 followers and no clue what I was doing (like at all) to 1300+ followers and I even made $88 from a little (free) product launch. It’s been a wild ol’ week.

Growth like this gets me all dream-like, all of a sudden I’m thinking about big picture stuff. I need to be brought back down to Earth. But there is a happy medium here, let’s call it what it is. This week has been exciting, things have gone remarkably well and I want to tell you about it.

Build sustainably

Here’s the thing when things get good, you get an adrenaline rush, feel like you can take over the world and try to do everything all at once. You race. You forget that this is the good bit, the fun bit, the exciting bit.

If you’re planning on planning the long game, success is inevitable. I’ll look back at these times as the best times, I need to enjoy them right now.

So instead of trying to take off on a rocketship to milestone space, I’m flipping the switch. I’m thinking about sustainability. I’m thinking about how I can play this game forever.

I wish somebody had told me about the sustainable hustle

This has happened to be on Medium, one stellar article got me in a tailspin. So I went all in and nearly burned out. You need to keep your rhythm through the good and the bad.

So what’s my strategy you ask? It’s the sustainable Twitter hustle.

P.s. find out exact Twitter strategy in the course linked below (it’s too long to explain in a 2 minute newsletter).

SMALL IDEAS šŸ’”

Across the web šŸŒ

  • Shaan Puri talks about selling The Milk Road.

  • Kieran Drew’s talking about doing less in 2023 and I’m here for it.

  • Andrew Kirby talks about work feeling like play.

Tiny thought:

I’ve been walking more. Here me out. This isn’t a ā€˜walk 2 hours a day and cure all your problems’ kind of thought. It’s just little thought about getting outside. There is something about getting outside in the cold, wrapping up warm and watching the dogs race around a field that kind of makes everything else seem less important.

Whenever you’re ready, two ways I can help 🧩

  • Top 100+ headlines on Medium - the best headlines on Medium (it saves me 1 hour a day).

  • 100,000 Words: How to write online alongside your 9-5. If you’re working a full-time job and wanting to write on the internet, read this.

I’m releasing the biggest freebie ever on planet Earth (well for me) on Monday 6pm EST. From 0 - 1000 on Twitter, Find out more here, I think you’ll love it. p.s. you’ll actually get to see me talk! šŸš€

The week’s newsletter is sponsored by The Part-Time Creator Club (can you sponsor your own newsletter?)

P.s. Don’t think about what’s possible, think about what’s sustainable.

keep that walking going if you can Eve. It was a gamechanger for me these past several months. It was like thoughts started to sticking to each other for next steps.

Pretty cool watching your evolution. Keep it going!
