There is a lot if info in this weekās edition, my apologies for not sending the newsletter out last week, Iāve been a little under the weather. 𤧠Anyway, letās dive into it.
The Sustainable Twitter Hustle
Iāve been writing on Twitter for 51 days seriously, letās call it 7 weeks.
In that time Iāve gone from 425 followers and no clue what I was doing (like at all) to 1300+ followers and I even made $88 from a little (free) product launch. Itās been a wild olā week.
Growth like this gets me all dream-like, all of a sudden Iām thinking about big picture stuff. I need to be brought back down to Earth. But there is a happy medium here, letās call it what it is. This week has been exciting, things have gone remarkably well and I want to tell you about it.
Build sustainably
Hereās the thing when things get good, you get an adrenaline rush, feel like you can take over the world and try to do everything all at once. You race. You forget that this is the good bit, the fun bit, the exciting bit.
If youāre planning on planning the long game, success is inevitable. Iāll look back at these times as the best times, I need to enjoy them right now.
So instead of trying to take off on a rocketship to milestone space, Iām flipping the switch. Iām thinking about sustainability. Iām thinking about how I can play this game forever.
I wish somebody had told me about the sustainable hustle
This has happened to be on Medium, one stellar article got me in a tailspin. So I went all in and nearly burned out. You need to keep your rhythm through the good and the bad.
So whatās my strategy you ask? Itās the sustainable Twitter hustle.
P.s. find out exact Twitter strategy in the course linked below (itās too long to explain in a 2 minute newsletter).
SMALL IDEAS š”
Across the web š
Shaan Puri talks about selling The Milk Road.
Kieran Drewās talking about doing less in 2023 and Iām here for it.
Andrew Kirby talks about work feeling like play.
Tiny thought:
Iāve been walking more. Here me out. This isnāt a āwalk 2 hours a day and cure all your problemsā kind of thought. Itās just little thought about getting outside. There is something about getting outside in the cold, wrapping up warm and watching the dogs race around a field that kind of makes everything else seem less important.
