SMALL IDEAS
Indecision is the biggest productivity killer: Make a start. However small, it doesn’t matter, you’ll often find if you start you’ll find your way.
Don’t sweat the small stuff: We all worry about something: a meeting, the way you’ve said something, imposter syndrome, the lot. Life is simply too short to sweat the small stuff.
Time will tell: 2 years ago I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life. Time has a way of helping things make sense, it relaxes your problems.
Test your assumptions: If you think you’re not good enough, test your assumption. And then realise that everyone fails, all the time.
4 Principles for Dealing With the Bad Days
With ‘side hustles’ on the rise, it’s important we look after ourselves
691 days.
That’s how long it’s been since I wrote my first article on the internet; the official start of my side hustling journey. It’s safe to say a lot has changed, namely my goals. It’s also true that nothing has changed at all. A paradox, I know. 691 days later, I’ve realized that if you can sustain a side hustle for a decent period of time, you’ll need a mechanism for dealing with the tough days.
A reoccurring theme over the last few years is that the bad days come, regardless of place, mindset or wellbeing. They always come and every time I’m as surprised as the last. I think though, I’ve learned a few ways to deal with them.

THE SCIENCE
If you’re happy, you’ll work harder. No seriously. New research from Warwick University shows that the happier you are, the harder you’ll work. Researchers found happiness made people around 12% more productive.
Stress makes you less productive, yep, it’s science. No surprise there but according to the research high stress scores were associated with significantly lower productivity scores. Interesting ay?
Hey, share this thing, will ya?
That’s all for now, hope you have a belter of a Tuesday and enjoy the week ahead. Remember, don’t sweat the small stuff and enjoy what you’re doing, life is too short!
